The Washington Foreign Press Center escorted a group of thirty-five journalists representing 12 countries to Des Moines, Iowa for the Annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner - one of the State's largest political events.  In addition to attending the dinner, the group was able to observe candidate round tables and rallies.  The Iowa Farmers Union meeting provided a chance for them to listen to and participate in media availabilities with some of the candidates.  They also visited with representatives of the Iowa Republican and Democratic parties as well as toured the Caucus Iowa exhibit at the State Historical Museum.
