The tour for five Brazilian journalists focused on U.S. cooperation with Brazil on biofuels and also on current research and development in the area of cellulosic ethanol in the U.S.  In Washington, journalists met with government officials from the U.S. Departments of State, Energy, Agriculture and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency as well as congressional staffers.  Journalists then traveled to Colorado where they visited the National Renewable Energy Lab, had meetings with the Governor's Coalition on Biofuels and interviewed a leading professor in the area of biofuels at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
