Latin American Journalists Focus on Pandemic and Avian Flu

The Washington Foreign Press Center organized a reporting tour about Pandemic and Avian Flu for nine journalists from Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Jamaica, El Salvador, and Costa Rica.  Ambassador John Lange welcomed the group at the Foreign Press Centers.  The group also had interviews with officials from the National Institutes of Health and Infectious Diseases, the Department of Health and Human Services, USDA, PAHO, and the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia.
