Iraqi Out-Of-Country Voting

The Washington Foreign Press Center sponsored a tour to observe Iraqi Out-Of-Country Voting in New Carrollton, Maryland.  Twenty eight journalists from France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Denmark, Korea, Japan, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and the Philippines and several television crews participated in this out of country voting - Iraq - Marylandtour to observe Iraqis voting in their first democratic elections in more than 50 years.  Journalists had the opportunity to interview and hear personal stories from voters in the Out-Of-Country Voting Program sponsored by the International Organization for Migration.
