From Washington, journalists traveled to Philadelphia where they visited a prominent African-American church, a mosque and spoke to the representatives of the Philadelphia Commission on Human Rights.
During the New Mexico portion of the tour, journalists focused on the state's ethnic diversity, attended worship services, and interviewed representatives of faith-based organizations. In Chicago, journalists met with representatives of the Chicago Tribune, interviewed leaders of a non-profit organization that encourages interfaith work among the city's youth and met with professors of religious studies at DePaul University.
