In cooperation with FPC New York, a two week working tour to Wash, Detroit/Dearborn and NYC was arranged for twelve Indonesian journalists.

The group visited mosques and Islamic centers in the three cities to meet with Muslim Americans and share their experiences and views of life in America before and after September 11.

The group also met with senior administration officials to discuss bilateral relations between the United States and Indonesia, as well as the implications of the war on terrorism for Indonesia. Over sixty articles have been published in Indonesia as a result of this tour.
