Reporters from Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria participated in a tour on security cooperation and post-conflict stabilization.  Over the course of their time in Washington, the group had interviews with Senate Foreign Relations Africa Subcommittee Chairman, Senator Russ Feingold; the NSC's Africa Director; at Dod with DAS Whelan; USAID's Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance office; NDU's Africa Center; Ambassador Herbst - Coordinator for CRS at State; and the NGO Crisis Group; as well as the Wilson Center.  The reporters from Angola, Cameroom, and Ghana then proceeded to Stuttgart, Germany, where they met with officials from AFRICOM.
