Nine foreign media representing outlets from Asia and Europe joined the Washington Foreign Press Center reporting tour in Los Angeles, CA to cover the finals of the Intel Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). The tour also included visits to innovative local secondary schools and colleges that are developing new educational models to teach problem solving and professional skills, including one dynamic institution that aims to have each student start their own business before they finish high school. ISEF is the world's largest high school science competition, with nearly 1,800 students from over 70 countries competing for over US$1 million in scholarship funds.
