The New York Foreign Press Center brought eleven foreign journalists to the nation’s largest municipal government customer call center, “NYC311,” for a November 12 reporting tour that explored how the call center is leveraging social media and mobile applications to improve service delivery. NYC311 has responded to over 170 million customers since it was launched ten years ago.
