Domestic Reporting Tour to Boston for Election Night

Between November 5-7 journalists from New York and Washington, DC met with local political and business leaders, and local activists as they sought to explore key themes undergirding the 2012 presidential election. Specifically, the tour focused on the Romney campaign and Governor Romney’s tenure in Massachusetts. During the tour, participants also visited Manchester, New Hampshire where they covered Governor Romney’s final rally of the 2012 election season. On Election Day, participants covered a polling site in Massachusetts, met with State Senator Brian A. Joyce, and visited an election night event hosted by Senate candidate Scott Brown.
