NY FPC journalists participated in a reporting tour to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services offices in New York. The tour included an exclusive look inside USCIS with a mock naturalization interview, a briefing on the role of USCIS and the naturalization process, media availabilities and photo ops with USCIS NY District Director Andrea Quarantillo. The journalists were also invited to cover a Naturalization Ceremony of 50 new US citizens. After the ceremony, the FPC journalists were able to interview and photograph the new citizens and their families and have one on one interviews with USCIS staff. Eighteen journalists from13 countries participated in the tour , from China to Germany and from Japan and Norway to Sweden.
