The New York Foreign Press Center coordinated a press event at the World Trade Center (WTC) construction site attended by ninety foreign media from Asia, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. The event was hosted by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Silverstein Properties.
Journalists wore safety gear to access the WTC construction site where they took video and photographs, and interviewed construction team members and facility developers. A formal presentation by Port Authority and WTC officials inside 7 World Trade Center followed the construction site access. One-on-one interviews followed the presentations.
