The media tour for twenty-five domestic-based foreign journalists was organized to showcase efforts underway in the U.S. to fulfill President Obama's 2009 mandate of sending 100,000 American students to study in China over four years. This two-day tour took journalists to Howard University, George Mason University, and Washington, DC's Phelps High School to highlight local efforts to dramatically increase the number and diversity of American students studying in China.
