The New York Foreign Press Center, in cooperation with the Actors Theatre of Louisville, held its annual reporting tour to the Blue Grass State of Kentucky for the 35th Annual Humana Festival of New American Plays. Thirteen journalists participated in the tour which included opportunities to attend seven world premiere plays. Media participated in panel discussions on the American theater and had media availabilites and one-on-one interviews with the playwrights, actors and theater management. This year, the foreign media were invited to participate in an informal dialogue with the Actors Theatre management where the background and history of the Theatre and the Humana Festival were explored.
