The Washington Foreign Press Center took a group of ten foreign media to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Headquarters for a half-day program on disaster response. Media interviewed Administrator Craig Fugate and attended a series of bakcground briefings on all aspects of disaster response, recovery, preparedness, and mitigation. Media also learned how to pre-clear themselves to embed with FEMA for future hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other disasters.
