Sunday, October 31 through Tuesday, November 2, the FPC hosted a foreign reporting tour in Miami, FL on the Midterm Elections for foreign journalists already based in the U.S. The tour consisted of print, radio, and broadcast journalists from China, Egypt, Germany, Japan, Pakistan, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The tour met with experts on political polling, demographics in Florida, Haitian and Cuban Diaspora groups, and the County Board of elections. Additionally, the tour visited several voting polls throughout Miami and attended political candidate events for Charlie Crist (I), Marco Rubio (R), and Alex Sink (D).
