The Washington Foreign Press Center, on October 27-November 5, hosted a reporting tour entitled “The 2010 Midterm Elections” for 12 journalists from Argentina, Bolivia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Croatia, India, Iraq, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Senegal and Spain. The participants covered the 2010 Senate, House, and Gubernatorial races in Florida. They reported about the mood of U.S. voters, the voting process in Florida, how Americans of diverse backgrounds participate in the democratic process, and about the implications of the election. The group travelled to Miami, Florida and Washington, DC.
