A group of journalists from China, Japan and Austria toured New Hampshire to examine manufacturing, biofuels, small business, and higher education. During the tour, the journalists met with Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Governor John Lynch, and Segway inventor Dean Kamen, among others. The appointments introduced the group to individuals and organizations actively engaged in combating climate change, maintaining global disaster relief networks, and in researching and designing robotics systems.
