Twenty four journalists from fourteen coutries attended a background briefing by Senate Foreign Relations Committee staff and a tour of the Senate press gallery. The journalists learned the role of the Senate in foreign policy, the unique rules of procedure and ways for journalists to get information. The tour helped the journalists make sense of the U.S. legislative process and will inform fuutre reporting.
