Twelve journalists from ten countries participated in the tour to see the U.S. military's health care system. Journalists observed the care given to wounded warriors from Iraq and Afghanistan which included care of amputees and advanced prosthetics technology; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and cutting edge research on how the brain heals. Media also had the opportunity to interview amputees and visit the Wounded Warrior Clinic and tour the Military Advanced Training Center.
