Ten journalists from eight countries spent the day observing the Afghanistan Integrated Civilian-Military Pre-Deployment Training Course, an initiative developed and implemented by an interagency working group from Defense, State, USDA, and USAID.
The purpose of the course is to provide the learner with an understanding of the challenges associated with the building of the civilian-military Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT).
