The Washington Foreign Press Center organized a day tour to Martha’s Table, a non-profit organization, that provides food, clothing and educational programs to the at risk community in Metropolitan Washington. On hand were 12 journalists from seven countries representing seven organizations. They met with Lindsey Buss, President of Martha’s Table, who gave an overview of the organization’s work, funding and raison d’être. Journalists visited the different facilities that make up Martha’s Table and interviewed staff members in action.
