The Washington Foreign Press Center arranged a tour of the U.S. Supreme Court for journalists interested in the U.S. judicial system and the pending confirmation of a new Supreme Court justice. Over fifty correspondents representing twenty-three countries participated in the viist, which included briefings on the history of the Court, statutory and constitutional aspects of the U.S. court system, and the resources available to journalists covering the Supreme Court.
