The Washington Foreign Press Center arranged a reporting tour for 34 print, radio, and TV journalists from 22 countries to visit the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia on May 12. The tour included a demonstration by new agents on the shooting range and their famous “Hogan’s Alley” training facility, and briefings on the FBI laboratories, the National Academy, the role of the FBI overseas, and their collaboration for training with other countries. It concluded with an interactive demonstration of situations where special agents are allowed to use their weapons, with the journalists’ role-playing as the special agents.
